i was looking into gettin the same pipes for my volusia. i've heard some people complain that these pipes make the exhaust sound "tinny" in the upper rpms. how do they sound out of the lower rpm range?
-
love it sounds bad ass!

hey man i just got my dads boulevard c50 and i want to put some pipes on it as well. I dont like the way it sounds. How much did it cost you to get the pipes and get them installed?

I'm 6'3" 300lbs and have an 07 c50t--everyone says I look good on it.

what was the total cost of the pipes and installation?

@MightyMounts15 - they retail for $400-450. I found a set new on ebay for about half that. I installed them myself, so you would have to ask your dealership what they charge.

Just one more question, your weight ? :)

lol, sure. i'm currently about 6'0" and 200lbs. but i'm working on dropping an extra 20! :) as you may notice by looking at my other videos, i'm gearing up to hike the 2175 mile appalachian trail next spring! (actually, i'll probably end up selling my bike at that time for the extra money)

I want to buy this bike and some people told me that the brakes are very bad, any advice ?
milossani 2 years ago
Well, the C50 has a single disc up front and drum in the back. I've heard this complaint before but personally I'm perfectly happy with the braking on my bike. I ride mostly solo and i'm not a heavy person, so maybe thats why. When I do ride double, I could see how dual discs/rear disc might be a benefit. Bottom line its a nice bike, large for its cc's (800 -- most folks ask me if its a 1100or +), a comfortable ride even for LONG distance, and didnt break the bank.
