what flies do u use for salmon. gonna be going for my first salmon this year and i want it to be on the fly rod. any advice will help.

Why other fishermen don't like fly fishermen..........he takes the fish down through how many other guys' spots? "Fish on!".....and we're supposed to cut our fishing short and reel in? Get a decent outfit that you can hold a fish so it isn't running up and down the river. :)

When do people start catching steel head up there? I wanted to try salmon fishing but they usually are there during bow season.

i love that hole. cant wait for them to start running again. tried my luck at steelhead this spring and winter but couldnt catch a damn thing over 20 inches. one day i caught 9 that were 18-20 but just no keepers. did get a 23 inch brown last year in trout brook during the salmon run though.
