Fear of God has no place in Hinduism. When your child is in trouble, you want him or her to come to you & seek help not stay away because of fear of how you would react. You cannot impose morality thru fear - that's basically what dictators & communist regimes used to do - positive reinforcement is far better than negative reinforcement.

  • @skatetennis123 the murderer has to do is repent & seek forgiveness from God? And why not from the victims' family? Well first of all, they may not be in a mood to give it! Second, they may demand compensation! The murderer may have to give up all his wealth!

let's not do that - let's take the easy way out-let's beg the nice merciful God for forgiveness! how nice for the criminal!

Again & again, I see a religion teaching u how to run away from doing the right thing

  • @skatetennis123 "God to forgive the murderer after the murderer truly repented - see, i am seeing a lot of love for the criminal but total neglect for the victim. Great the murderer repented, how does it make a diff for the victim & his family? The family is still in pain, the murdered person might be the breadwinner of the family, now the family is destittute! Where is the justice for them?

Again & again I see ur religion as pandering to weakness-it is not for the strong. It tells u that all

  • @skatetennis123 In the olden days it was easy to for the strong to beat the weak&steal their money. There was no police, law like today, so those times demanded instant violent justice

But times have changed now-what do parents do today when a child misbehaves? Use that as a Teaching opportunity-teach the child right from wrong! the Non-violent way(Karma & Rebirth)-everyone benefits-the parent becomes a better parent, the child learns something new

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind

  • @skatetennis123 " we should fear the consequences of comitting evil. that acts as a deterrent against people doing evil" Very well said, but realize that we are ALL God's children. What if ur child misbehaved? Would u beat him? Is that how ur child learns right from wrong? It used to happen a lot in the olden days-that's what ur religions reflect-values of an ancient time, when violence was met with violence. There was little law & order, so any evil act demanded instant punishment

  • @skatetennis123 There is no sugar daddy & we are not that weak, we are not damsels in distress looking for the knight in shining armor to come save us

Hindus die we come right back, we are not running away to make-believe castles in the air. We choose to stay with God - yes God is Here - & fight for a better earth. There is so much pain & suffering here, running away won't make that pain go away

Earn Praise From God by being strong, by choosing to stand ur ground, stand & fight!

  • @skatetennis123 Like i posted to meka1star, Life is harsh, so people wished for a nice afterlife. Heaven is just a dream & as real as one. Heaven is a metaphor for the womb, for childhood, a time when there were no worries, everything done for us. I seriously doubt that God has nothing better to do than cater to millions of adult babies

Hinduism wants u to be an adult-stop dreaming of running away, life is harsh? Well get to work & make it better! Stop dreaming of a sugar daddy to come & save u

  • @skatetennis123 then the victim would be pleased with what God is pleased with. any mistakes are my own errors and i am not an authority on the religion of islam.

    peace

PS my grandparents and some of my family are hindus

  • @ramaraksha01 in islam God will forgive you if you wrong yourself by not giving Him His rights, but if you wrong another person, it is said that God will not forgive you until you do right by them first. For example if a person is murdered, and they are otherwise righteous, or God was pleased with entering them into the garden, then they will not grieve over their having been murdered once they reach the final abode, and if it pleased God to forgive the murderer after the murderer truly repented

  • @skatetennis123 sorry if i sounded arrogant by saying 'the answer is that...'. please watch my videos

  • @ramaraksha01 in islam it is said that most of the inhabitants of heaven/paradise/the garden of eden/ al-jannah will be from those who were poor on earth. In some poor countries although the education is very different, so may call it non existent, there is less immorality. however this doesn't answer my question, the answer is that we should fear the consequences of comitting evil. that acts as a deterrent against people doing evil
