The date was April 24th, 1999. Doug Kent just barely made it into the championship match by beating Amleto Monacelli and Ryan Shafer in the opening shootout match. Rudy "Revs" Kasimakis is his next opponent. Part 1 of 2

  • @gamemeister27 Yeah, heavy-core urethane balls made many lackluster strugglers absolute stars. Walter Ray is probably the most notable. The approach is all you had prior to that. Your score would only improve in relationship to what you did behind the foul line. Those days are gone. Now you can score regardless what you do behind the foul line. Sad, really. e

  • @sammydavisjrsr Rudy was taking money from everyone back during the urethane days too. Guys eventually started only bowling him if he bowled from the settee, lofting the ball onto the lane from back there. His sponsor got rich and retired young.

  • @sammydavisjrsr yeah sopaer is awsome

  • @Scotchtapeeater Different game, really. Soper would take him any day of the week back in the wood lanes, hard rubber or plastic ball, heavier bottom-heavy pin days. Today the better players don't score any better than the lesser ones, sadly.

  • @20alphabet lol rudy "revs" kasimakis is awsome. better then butch sopaer or not ? idk lol

  • they r bascily wearing the same shirt cause ebonite owns hammer...

  • Rudy's approach says it all. The "LOOK AT ME !!" pose half way through is typical of these fat, bald, Peter Griffin-like loudmouthed New Yorkers' persona. That being said, if his wife resembles Lois or dog speaks English then I'll KNOW bowling has gone to the cartoons!

  • He does bowl on tour every once in a while. He is the local pro at my bowling alley.
