From the Deaconate Ordination at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rochester, NY. We see a mandolin player singing "I Am the Lord of the Dance." However, above his head is a lifesized crucifix, and all around him are the stations. Our Lord is more than the "Lord of the Dance." For crying out loud, he's not some contestant on Dancing With the Stars. He is the crucified savior, and ought to be treated with more respect. Many thanks to Bishop Clark for creating this heterodoxy and apathy towards all things sacred. It's time to move on from the 1970's, your excellency.

  • @CantorNikolaos You didn't see the picture before... It was a high altar there. It was destroyed.

  • BTW, if that was my ordination, I'd be pissed! I feel sorry for the deacons who were ordained at this mockery of the Sacred Mass! Catchy tune though. Now I'm whistling it. LOL!
