Newsnight ended slightly differently tonight...
Hey! I'm uploading this about two and a half hours until we kick off against the French in the Rugby World Cup, 2011 (RWC2011 so search engines and such get it) semi-final. And yes, a Westminster-Politico and London-centric, English-language, news programme did choose to end... in WELSH!
Still... Vive L'Indépendance! (ah, heck, wrong language...)
It's Catatonia (lead singer: Cerys Matthews) singing "International Velvet" - principally the lyric: "Everyday, when I wake up, I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" over the end titles.
