  • Samsung intend to have one of these robots in everybody's home in 2020 (s.korea).

    They are so far ahead of everybody else in term of their national technology strategy.

  • @bighands69 Not necessarily one of these particular robots, but robots generally. That includes stuff like the Roomba knockoffs of which Korea has many.

    They are not talking about low level robots that are just glorified toys.

    The are talking about domestic task orientated robots that have narrow human characteristics. And they will look similar to the ones in these videos.

    The robot you see in this video is a research platform for future robots. Remember 10 years is a long time in technology.
