@mashley6490 you dont need the sensor. mine had the same thing and i left it unhooked. you can check this by just unplugging it and driving it around, if it drives normal, then go for it

Yeah the setup I have right now is tight though. Maybe one day I'll get duals but I'm satisfied with my no muffler highlfow cat exhaust lol

ive got a 97 silverado, aftermarket cats, with glass packs, and true duals, it sounds 10x better than a y pipe believe me, i just broke the baffling out of my glass packs today to make them louder lol

I love the way my truck sounds right now, until I can afford true duals they'll stick for now. I have a 72 K-20 pickup with true duals flowmasters super 40's no cats 3 inch exhaust and that sounds sweet, just can't afford it on the Silverado right now

yeah it goes in right above the manifold flange. I was thinking i would just drill and tap the Collector.

Hmm that's strange since you're only computing half the exhaust. I'm not sure what to tell you I would buy a set of headers and y pipe that comes with the provisions for the o2 sensor, drilling the thin wall header metal might lead to some issues.

Hey man how did you do your 02 sensor. Im putting a set of headers on my 1990 chevy 1500 and my 02 sensor gose in into exhaust manifold but my headers dont have a hole for the sensor. any ideas

Yours goes into the manifolds? Where? Mine went on the bottom of the Y pipe where the 2 pipes met, had a pre-drilled hole for it in the aftermarket Y pipe that I bought.
