There are other ways to make money through YouTube besides just the Parnership Program. There is the option to be involved with "product placement" in which advertisers and product companies will pay you, the YouTube Partner, to promote a specific product in your video without actually directly advertising it. Basically, they want to in way, subliminaly advertise their product(s) and they will pay you for it. People will be more accepting of the product because someone that they watch on YouTube and approve of, obviously approve of that product so it encourages them to also. Advertisers know that if you have a fan base and you approve of any type of product, more than likely, that fan base also will and if they dont, they will consider it.

Also, you can get paid by advertising for a company such as McDonalds's, Nike, Jordan, Pepsi or any other company. The advertisers brand their product by esposing it to the public so much that is is recongizable and acceptable. What better platform to use when advertisers can pay a YouTube Partner for advertising their product in front of a crowd of thousands of subscribers? Advertises don't pay millions of dollars for those commercials during the Super Bowl for nothing! I will teach you how to brand yourself in a future blog.

Other ways to make money on YouTube would be to do the YouTube Rental Program. You can make your videos available for rent to everyone. Say for instance, you are an inspiring movie producer and you do short films, you can put your films up for rent as low as 99 cent and as high as you want to charge for a viewing. You can apply for the rental program to charge people to see your creative content.

Renting videos work but for the majority of the YouTube community, there's not a lot of people who are willing to pay to watch content but, it may work for some. I suggest that any new partners should stay away from this at first because it will discorage people from wanting to watch you and, you haven't even been able to establish yourself for a large fanbase yet. But, it is something worth trying out when you actually have become an established YouTube Parnter.
