This is a new product launch video for Vreeke & Associates.
It was the press launch of the CRF230L, and a member of the HRCA went on the ride.

  • Can you get this on Ls?

  • @napalm4sd Yes too small for you.

  • @landonu12 I just bought one in brand new condition - it's a 2009, the last year they were made - check the honda site. Of course a sales guy would say it's 2011.

  • @kj7687 I just sat on a 2011 CRF230L in a showroom today, so i don't know where you're getting this info, because it's got to be wrong...

  • @kj7687 Unfortunately Honda discontinued production of this model. You could still find a used one within the next couple of years if you're set on it. Or if you want a new bike, I'd highly recommend the Kawasaki KLX250S. The CRF is lighter and has a lower seat height, which can make certain off road situations easier. However, the KLX has more power, a much better top speed (faster sustained highway riding speed), and better suspension.

  • @TecIsAwesome These little 200 class dual sports are perfect for the type of off roading that one might do in a Jeep, for example. I currently own a Yamaha TW200 and a Suzuki DR200 and I've done some very challenging (fun!) off road stuff with both of them. The CRF230L has good gearing, plenty of power for hill climbing and stuff, and a six speed transmission for highway capability (65 mph cruising=no problem). Plus it is probably the most reliable bike in its class.

  • There's one of these bike in the grocery store window for a raffle 5$ a ticket but it looks smaller than it looks on YouTube

  • @napalm4sd yeah this is too small for you get a used drz 400 sm or yamaha wr250r

  • I am getting my bike liscense next week, and I was looking at this as a first bike, but Im wondering if its too small. Im about 6'2

  • i have a 2009. It rules.
