@landonu12 I just bought one in brand new condition - it's a 2009, the last year they were made - check the honda site. Of course a sales guy would say it's 2011.
@kj7687 Unfortunately Honda discontinued production of this model. You could still find a used one within the next couple of years if you're set on it. Or if you want a new bike, I'd highly recommend the Kawasaki KLX250S. The CRF is lighter and has a lower seat height, which can make certain off road situations easier. However, the KLX has more power, a much better top speed (faster sustained highway riding speed), and better suspension.
@TecIsAwesome These little 200 class dual sports are perfect for the type of off roading that one might do in a Jeep, for example. I currently own a Yamaha TW200 and a Suzuki DR200 and I've done some very challenging (fun!) off road stuff with both of them. The CRF230L has good gearing, plenty of power for hill climbing and stuff, and a six speed transmission for highway capability (65 mph cruising=no problem). Plus it is probably the most reliable bike in its class.
Can you get this on Ls?
