Marin FC Blue vs Diablo

Saturday, September 19 Marin FC Blue played Diablo FC 95G at McKegney Green in Tiburon. With Coach Rob and sidelined Claire (sporting crutches and leg cast) urging the team along the girls pulled off a 2-0 victory! The center ref's frequent whistle, knoll-like field topography, blustery winds off the Bay and Diablo's defense made for a challenging game! Allysa scored the first goal with an assist from Chace within minutes of starting the game. It wasn't until late in the second half that Marin FC scored again. Sophie passed the ball to unguarded Cordelia who fired a perfect shot over the head of the goalie and into the net! Go Marin FC!
