not a good ending, would have ruined the movie, if they used this it wouldn't be one of my favorite movie.

@ag642 it's not making her seem like she played him for a john. it's her trying to cope with it all, trying to convince herself it's not her fault, trying to put the blame on him as if they were in a real life fight, as if she's talking to him, pretending he's still around to talk to and have this argument with. the true love is still there. he's still "so cool" to her.

true love between clarence and alabama is the appeal of the movie,,what they went thru for each other,,this ending does not fit at all,,out of sync.,,just wrong.

This ending is more real life. Not a hollywood feel good ending. Just a real life ending.
