Notes for Japan was a benefit concert organized by the students of Purchase College in New York to support the disaster relief efforts following the 2011 tsunami and subsequent aftermath. We have raised $6,187.25, which went to the Northeastern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund of JCCI (Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York Inc.). This fund was sent to relevant authorities to make sure that the donations are applied to the greatest areas of need.
