i remember when i watched this movie for the very first time, i was already blown away by these opening credits, they're so amazing.
the music i can't even describe. love danny elfman.
anyway, this was the movie that turned me into a tim burton / johnny depp lover :)

A modern fairytale, so brilliant and perfect...to me one of the best movies ever created.

@nny2dope I agree with you, I think Coraline and James and the giant peach should be on that list instead. I was so mad about Alice also... Can't mess with an original like Willy Wonka.

I love Tim Burton and Danny Elfman together, they make a great team! I love this movie and all of his others!!

@tountouris Your #1 and 3 are correct, but over done Sleepy Hollow? And Wonderland is trash. He ruined that almost as bad as he ruined Wonka

My god what happened to Tim Burton .. I've been a fan of his for years .. I remember when batman came out I was like 2 or three but I remember watching that and when this came out we all watched it. I mean take this and compare it to the crap he's directed now .. kinda sad :(
