buell has been my fav. bike when i first saw the firebolt. i just got a buell 08 firebolt xb12 i love it , i thanks buell for making the best sports bike out there i live 35 min where the HQ is and all ways have to stop by when i am driving past it

im buying a used xb12 next month and will maintain it forever i refuse to buy into the jap crap stuff thats whats wrong with america nothing is made hear anymore thats why theres no jobs. i cant afford a harley and wouldnt buy one anyway but i liked erik buell's bikes good bye to another american company!

This is very sad. A great American icon is dead, but not forgotten. I went out and bought a XB12scg about a month ago upon hearing this devastating news. Erik looks and sounds crushed about this, but I hope he can bounce back from this major blow like he has done before in the past and continues making kick ass bikes for real riders.

on the other hand my selling price for my m2 just went up.. and see what happens when a little guy try's to team up with a bigger company.. the small guy gets shit on. harley really made there name look bad in my eyes.. i will not buy one now..
