There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're going
Or which way the wind is blowing
Is it raining? Is it snowing?
Is a hurricane a-blowing?
Not a speck of light is showing
So the danger must be growing
Oh, the fires of hell are glowing
Is the grisly reaper mowing?
Yes! The danger must be growing (Faster! Faster!)
For the rowers keep on rowing (Faster! Faster!)
And they're certainly not showing (Faster! Faster!)
Any signs that they are slowing (Faster! Faster!)
Stop the boat.

  • @Teensbrain You're right. He did. But...it's still cool that a musician loved that movie so much that he dedicated the aesthetic of an entire album to it. I love this album and that movie. They go hand in hand.

  • I feel a weird sense of empathy with these words that sound like they came out of a serial killer's twisted mouth.

    Stop the boat

  • @Teensbrain He did it great, but the context of the movie helped a lot. This version is neat too.

  • Gene Wilder did it creepier :/

  • @stephxbones Blazing.Fucking.Sandles...

  • This kinda shows Manson's true style. He took that one creepy moment from the Willy Wonka movie and took it to a new level. It's his own style, but it's a great reference for the album.

  • @cooliosurfer1 thts what i meant lol

  • @stephxbones No, it's from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, the original. The remake emits this part out..

  • @laurenalskargusen Eh, I'm not really into Marilyn Manson. I think I can go past his controversial incidents, but he's just so weird... Not Gaga weird... A different kind of weird.

  • @CrazyNative4 It's from Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, dude.
