Forgetmybelief: I believe in looking at each individual. I would also account for external factors, certain doctrines from birth, maybe they were acting alone, or may be their actions were shrouded in deindividuation. I don't believe all Muslims should be judged according to these people's actions. To analyse Islam itself, I would look to scripture.

They appear to condone their actions. Why do non-muslims have to be the ones in the streets screaming "what the fuck!?" Where are the muslims doing this? I can't ignore the labels since the people who are committing the atrocities are, quite frankly, the only ones being honest to their faith.

I myself am a humanist and I can't wait until we can make that push towards being a type 1 civilization. I despise religion, all of it, and see it as the only thing holding us back from that.

Bearing in mind the two religious debating were late for a screening of the Life of Brian. They missed the important scenes showing brian and Jesus to be separate people.

But... wouldn't it be smarter to ignore these labels like "christian" or "islamic" and just judge people based on the merits of their actions instead? Why should we hold other people accountable for actions that aren't theirs? If we want to blame the acts of the many for the crazy acts of the few is not all of humanity responsible for not acting to stop it?

You may be right we may be culpable for all the evils of humanity. However I think what's important is how we act now and in the future.

I judge Christianity by its Scripture mostly.
