Dennis has never been funny. And his attempts at linguistic complexity and verbal pyrotechnics have often painfully floundered, flopped and bombed. Were you to to bother to disentangle them, you would see that the wit he intended did not actually instantiate successfully. It's more of what they call a "word salad" than a stylistically complex comedic spectacle. So it was no surprise when he turned out to be a rightist fuckstain.

I guess 'thinkprogress' doesn't get it.
Unlike serious and unbiased weekly-news journals comedians are supposed to be on the edge. So a 'sexist' comment from Dennis Miller is OK as long as it's funny - in this case it was.

true.. this isn't '94. if another right-wing christian terrorist like mcveigh shows up in a few years, he'll have open allies in congress. these people hate America.

i think a lot of people are getting..concerned.
the only thing we have to fear is fear itself..and hate + ignorance.

well, I think the "rabble" are starting to run the gop.. and the corporatists who've traditionally run the show are getting scared

i felt bad for women everywhere when i saw this week's cover of newsweek. Its really getting sad and pathetic.
I want to clarify that when i say pathetic I mean also disgraceful. Talk about a bunch of whacko populist ideologues. Who runs the GOP anyways?

I can see Cuba from my state :)
but you need really good eye sight or binoculars. Does that count?

if someone listens to Dennis Miller and takes him seriously, then that is funny. Talk about a 3rd rate has been with a chip on his shoulder.
Remember that time Janet Napolitano said that you could see Mexico from her state, and therefore she's an expert on South America? Oh wait, that never happened...

hold palin to a different standard? yeah, remember that time when Dianne Feinstein posed for photos in tight shorts with the American Flag used as a furniture throw? Oh wait, that never happened. Remember that time Kathleen Sebelius needed more than a year to answer a simple question about which newspaper she likes? Oh wait..
miller really thought he'd be relevant again by glomming onto the conservatards. enjoy your exile, chatchky.
