German made SperZEL tuners? Incorrect. Sperzels(accent is on the first syllable) are made in Cleveland, Ohio. Also those pickups are Mighty-Mite pups, not DiMarzios. Later model EM-18s had black colored DiMarzios. Great guitar....it just has an ugly peghead. I honestly think that's one of the reasons this guitar didnn't catch on.
