In part one of a two-part interview, Prime Minister Stephen Harper discusses his leadership style, the minority government dilemma, and his response to grumblings from the conservative voter base with CBC News' chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge.
@jadger1871 There's a reason conservatives only post simple comments, because they don't know anything. WHY DON'T YOU tell us what he's been doing right.
@jadger1871 Are you saying HARPER knows how to run a country, thats beyond stupid.
Stats Canada unemployment rate in JAN 2009 6.8% in JAN 2012 7.6%
Clearly showing unemployment is up while Conservatives claim 430,000 more jobs were created. The difference is more equal to the 80,000 jobs Harper cut includeing the Idiotic cuts to Enviormental. But who needs them when all pollution standards have been removed.
@smokenbudesq Ya, because the alternative PMs are soooo much better!!! there are no alternatives, all the other parties are nonsense, he actually knows how to run a country.
@DjSaltyDog I agree, people spin him as a American style conservative who is super deregulative, but he's actually more moderate than people give him credit, he's managing the economy better than the last few governments and mixing regulative and deregulative policies to the best degree, for example he has the Canadian Economic action plan which is a Keynesian form of Economic recovery while his government created the Tax Free savings account which has helped the middle class substantially.
@tomuchbabble Do you always just spam random bullshit and assume no one will actually look it up?
