- This was my first animation to be
broadcast Nation-Wide!

For those of you who are wondering:

- I drew each frame on paper first,
then colored them all on the computer.
(This is basically "Traditional Animation"
with the aid of a computer)

- We had to show every word of the poem
during the animation.

- Why the Chicago skyline?
Before reading the poem,
Edward Hirsch stated that the library
is located on the north side of Chicago.

- The fading darkness at the end
doesn't look too great
and that's because of YouTube.
Normally, the fade is much smoother.

- The black screen at the beginning
is also because of YouTube's video playback.
