@Picktzar To right

I must confess that although I thought that this show could have been better, the voices were spot on to how I've imagined them to be from the comics (barring Sondar who I've always felt sounded more like a Mr Spock than the voice he was given in the show) which was why I watched it on C5

@LordPickaxe and make it snappy.

Does anybody know where I can find this, online or dvd? I used to watch this every Saturday morning haha, been wondering where it got to.

I wish this series came to the US TV screens. This looks good. In fact, I call it electrifying. Hampson and Bellamy must be proud.

@teddyrocker Not sure which Dan Dare you mean
(there have been several different versions of him over the years).
The Series by Virgin Comics was very good, to me the best (abet as yet uncompleted) continuation of Frank Hampson's original work in "The Eagle" (without question the greatest Comic ever produced in GB, as i found out for myself when i came across a collection of originals in Hertfordshire recently).

Ah yes Channel 5 on Saturday mornings, they used to show this along with
"Beast Wars: Transformers", a pain that CH-5 Always suffered from Grainy Picture Quality back then (on Analog anyway).
I've wanted to know this for some time, but does anyone know the name of the Soundtrack used between 0:01 - 1:00 ? (or any of the others used in this series?).

@teddyrocker Not that I personally am aware of, but thats not to say it doesn't exist. The wonderful thing about the Internet is that any information you could ever want is available, if one knows where to look. I'd try looking for archives for Eagle, the comic that Dan Dare originally appeared in, along with fellow British sci-fi comics icon, Judge Dredd

Ouch! Flash Gordon (and Buck Rogers) verges on fantasy, whereas Dan Dare is much more hard sci-fi.
