JD prevented a bill from leaving committee that would have honored WW2 POW survivors an acknowledgement of suffrage, WW2 POWs were told not to make any public statements after returning from the war. this man is not who conservatives think he is!!!

Sorry to see him go but perhaps he actually can help people understand the long term benefits of fiscal conservatism.

I don't think the democrats are seriously talking about raising taxes to the level to pay off the debt, they're just riding thtrain as far as it will go, they don't really think about sustainability. They're like people the focus on "cash flow" rather than real understanding about money. But I agree with you that the 2 parties are both pretty messed up, neither is operating responsibly with respect to the future health of our economy.

All "debt" America "owes" to the Fed Reserve and foriegn banks is illegitamate and mathmatically unservicable. For one party to claim the debt can be repaid by cutting spending is just as bogus as the other party's claim that the debt can be paid by raising taxes. You could increase taxes to 100% AND cut spending to $0.00 and you still couldn't pay the so called debt.

Follow the money trail to its orign, "both" parties are the same bunch of liars.

truthfully i don't know if anything can save detroit. i was just commenting on the news clip of the councilwoman from detroit asking for some bacon. i have no answers. just tired of seeing buckets of money wasted on failed systems. i can't believe how things get so twisted and we all suffer for the mistakes of others.

lol you have no idea how Michigan politics work. It is not any different than many of the mid west states that have been under Democrat control for decades that are on the brink of collapse. Emulating the fall of Alexander the Greats empire. The beauty about the welfare state is you can do anything in the short run, eventually the social democracy always collapses.

"you actually lost the state"just points out what little understanding of civics you possess. Stateis separate from federal level
