    Yeah, he didn't really explain the Major scale intervals very well. It's an F# because there MUST be a half tone between the 7th and 8th note of a Major scale. Only the key of C has no sharps or flats, which also happen to be all the white keys on the piano. The Major scale formula is: Whole/whole/half/whole/whole/w­hole/half. The C-scale is: CDEFGABC with half tones between E + F and B +C. message me if you need help.
