Wow... What A Speech.

@e2thextoo The part of the speech regarding secret societies is merely a description of the Soviet's style of governance. In contrast, the American way, at least according to the speech writer, is much more open and free. We all know that is not the case these days. But it annoys me when people use edited versions of the speech to try and deceive people into believing that JFK warned us, and then got assasinated for it. That behaviour is on par with the evil they are trying to expose.

The speech has several esoteric hints, one being the mention of Sir Francis Bacon. So, the secret society person who wrote the speech intentionally put in the part about secret societies. Just like the reason there's so much info about secret societies now is because they are deliberately making the info available... Perhaps to confound those who thought they were part of the super elite, but really aren't?..It's all about degrees of deceit, right? Suckers deserve to be deceived, or so they say.

@Laplarse -- In today's world, though, anyone who suggests there are secret society people infiltrating every level of influence in our nation is called a nut, and ridiculed as a conspiracy theorist. THAT's why hearing this speech at this time is so remarkable. It may not be why JFK was killed because he was just reading what his speech writer wrote. But it gives credence to the those who today warn about the powerful elite of the wicked secret societies, who have CHAOS as their aim.

..."free and independent"

All presidents elect someone to be there speechwriter, or editor, whoever this person is can truly give us the answer on what this speech meant!
-
This speech is not a warning against secret societies within America. JFK is asking the press to show restraint when publishing information relating to national security, but defends his position by highlighting his contempt for secret societies and unchecked power. No conspiracy here people.
