@505197 If your talking about a De Tomasso Pantera; uh, i think you better look at the specs again chief, the 1971 Pantera came stock with a 351 cleveland, that produced 330 H.P. I've never heard of some one putting a 302 in one. They are fast and light, perhaps beyond your ability to drive it correctly, I've never thought of it as being unpredictable, unless you make a driving error. the shifter in mine is all original and except for a little service on the gear shift selector it shifts fine

They got spanked by a lot of normal muscle cars. The little 302 with it's 4bbl wasn't a powerhouse and they were geared too low, at 120 they were out of rpm, they looked twice as fast as they really were. And let's don't even talk about the unpredicable handling, the goose had a pos piss poor designed chassis, a wishbone off all things, a flexy flyer. You push that car and it will bite your ass, it's like living with a beautiful crazy woman. I hated the gated shifter too, it always needs tweaks

It is so nice to see people who will put these works of art on the roads for others to see. Nice tame run, but still stretching the legs a bit. It is a shame to see when people lock bits of history like this away in a garage only to be seen by a few. As long as you take care of them, there is no excuse not to get them out from time to time.
very nice
what happens if you give a little gas in the middle of the turn?
