One small, cool benefit of joining the military for me, was gaining superior attention to detail. Although, I have been trained to work on really large pieces of steel and aluminum, I still retain my fine crafting skills :)
So for everyone who is curious. This is a small part of who I am!
I live in Vermont, and I make natural ( an weird) jewelry.

I cant stand cheap metals that flake and rust.. But thank you for bringing it up, because you renewed my motivation :) I'll keep looking
