@josephgarza07 I've never used 4381, i was trying to get it, but it was out of stock and it had a wait list for it.

if you want more updated reloading formulas you can always go onto the powder websites hodgdon.com

they have hodgdon imr and winchester loadings.

its always best to start out and the lowest load available and work your way up to where you can achieve the most accuracy out of the load w/o cause excessive pressure to your case :)

depends on what your reloading for.

for my 300 win, its costing me about a $1.25 per round, and thats with barnes tsx.

rather than 2.50 for premium factory rounds.

a very basic setup will set you back around $150.00.

I believe you can get a lee loader for around 30 bucks

depends on what kind of reloading system you want.

I personally spent around 300 on just the tools.

you will also have to factor in the powder, primers, bullets, brass.

if you order primers and powder online they will charge you a 20 dollar or so hazmat fee.

I find it cheaper to go to your local sporting goods store.

the best groupings i got from them was .075 at 100 yards.

I recently switched over to barnes tsx 180grains.

col at standard 3.34

im getting .055 at 100 yards.

Have you tried H4381? In the Nosler Reloading guide it used H1000 for the 220grain. I am new to reloading and am trying to stay by the book lol.

I save alot of money reloading also- more accurate than factory loads by far and cheaper, take an exspensive box of ammo, than check the C.O.A.L of all 20rds. its sad that you might find 3 the same. when you go to the range to sight in and the groups are 1 to 2 moa! lol... i reload the same high dollar rounds at half the cost if not less and punch bullet on bullet holes. factory ammo cant keep up!

How much would you say it costs you to make one cartridge? I see you are using a more expensive bullet. How much do you think it would cost to make one cartridge using a regular fmj bullet for target shooting? Thanks

If your looking for a cheap but high quality reloading setup then use the L.E. Wilson hand dies and a rubber mallet! I know what your thinking... a MALLET! It does an excellent job and this is what benchrest shooters use so yes, its proven and it will squeeze the most accuracy out of your rifle. I promise! Their about $50.00 and all you need is a neck sizer die and a bullet seater die so $100 and this the best of the best!
