  • Olympus states that when the camera.is dirty or sandy to put it under the water tap,

  • Sound is OK, but the microphone is very sensitive for wind! So pay attention when you are filming or clean up in the movie editing software.

  • I record various scenes on the SD card. Then I put the SD card in the computer (Mac), read the scenes (clips) in a movie-editing program (iMovie) and shorten scenes, clean up the sound, make different transitions, etc. (In Windows you can use Windows Movie maker, I believe). Good luck.

  • When you are doing that pan at the river, the camera seems like it can't make up its mind which color the grass should be. Does anyone else notice the grass flickering?

  • @TheLeastFav Yes I noticed the color shifting. And also the focus shifted during the pan. So, avoid panning with this camera :-)

  • forgetting the underwater capabilities, i surf and the camera would be in the sand at some point will it be ok?

  • How's the sound?

  • how do you do when you pause or do you put it all together when you are finished?

  • how did u set ur camera to make HD movies ????????

  • how long can the Olympus Tough 3000 record

  • @TheLeastFav

Yea I did..but I think its becouse the author of this clip has been editing this a little bit.

the resolution is decomposing or should i say degraded over 40%..This is not 720p..becouse I have 720p camera and 1080p BUT neither one has THIS terrible quality.

Overexposotion is OK becouse the camera is not even middle class device, so its understanable
