This is my application for GNU/Linux!! It works inside Jack environment, it can control Sooperlooper. A lot of parameters can be assigned to midi commands, to nicely remote control the app.

Sourceforge:

All the stuff I used to create this video is opensource!

  • No Wind0w$ port planned...sorry!! It will be very difficult due to the hard integration into Linux infrastructure. Making this app I would like to keep it simple & stupid (kiss) in order to let other applications work with it.

Hey rixouney, why not give a try to linux, eg ubuntu?

  • @lXlrevolXl hmm I think I might switch to linux on my old "music laptop", I compose mainly on renoise tracker (available on linux as well), the problem with linux is the learning curve (it takes time to adapt to a new OS and optimize it to your needs)! But hey, I can definitely imagine myself composing in renoise, cutting the track into loops, then sequencing them live in cyclone!

  • It seems to be a good software and a nice alternative to Ableton live, I'd love to see it run on Windows so I can test it (I hope it's not too much work to do)

    Have a nice day!
