John DeCuffa from Jacks Bait and Tackle on City Island in New York gives you tips on how to catch the big striped bass for opening day March 16th! www.jacksbaitandtackle.com jacksbait@aol.com 718-885-2042
@2013iskate I am from Rhode Island and I fish at least 6 days a week. I have seen a bunch of people doing good rigs and poor rigs. They have all caught fish. I do a clinch knot with a 3' leader of fluorocarbon. That is attached with a swivel The fish finder then will NOT go any closer to the hook/bait than the 3' leader. I also use 65lb powerpro braid. Thats on a shamono 8000 baitrunner and a 11.6 st. croix premier spinning surf rod. Hope that helps!
