"We are Mexicans and Americans stole our land."

The letter by substitute teacher Tony Hill was read aloud Thursday as the state Senate considered one of five bills on illegal immigration. Hill wrote that a majority of eight-grade students who he taught recently at an unnamed Glendale school refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance and declared that "We are Mexicans and Americans stole our land."

Hill went on to write: "I have found that (in) substitute teaching in these areas most of the Hispanic students do not want to be educated but rather (want to) be gang members and gangsters. They hate America and are determined to reclaim this area for Mexico."

We tossed them all out of our schools. The child has to prove they are legal citizens before they can enroll, but when the illegal parent shows up with that proof he/she is immediately arrested and deported. And because they won't leave the child, you get rid of the illegals AND the anchor babies. Our schools now have 75% fewer Mexicants. It is also against the law to hire, house, or even offer an illegal a ride to the store. Most just left. The remaining ones cause NO trouble.

@1169Timothy Ok I have read a bit of the manifest destiny, and yes it is racist. But these mexicans have the same attitude as those racist whites. That is to say just as the whites want to expand their territory, these mexicans want to expand the mexican territory. So which one is right?, the mexicans or those whites?. Mexicans need to get over the past. America beat you in a war for this land we won it far and square. Theres kids like these in my school i live in new mexico and i always tell them, if you hate america then why did you risk your life crossing the border to come here? if you love mexico so much you should stay there no matter what is going on. And there is no way mexico can get there land back if they cant defeat drug cartels what makes them think they can beat the most powerful army ever.

@SwedishSahara can't you see what they are planning, if we keep letting all of the illegals come into the USA, have children and then stay after a few years the USA will be mostly mexicans, because they don't want to stay in mexico, but when this time comes, they will find that they have turned the USA into another sticking mexico, and then where are they going to go
