5 volt 510 USB Passthrough from Electro-Nic-Stix

Wish I knew if it was actually 5 volts or not, but it works great either way.

Under load volts is all that counts. At one forum a member stated that Joye batts are only putting out about 3.1V, while vaping. (under load).

willyvhc says you are at 4.2V. Assuming a 2.3 ohm Joye 510 atty you'll need 1.8A to hit 4.2V. Seems like a lot to be coming out of a laptop USB port. For a true 5V experience you'll need about 2.2A (2200mA).

Hopefully you ordered at least a 2000mA AC 5V USB adapter. That should give you about 4.6V. Which to me at least is plenty.

when its connected to ur pc ur probly getting about 4.2v. on the usb hub or usb charger it should be 5v with 2 amps good video man

you can buy the v2 cigs notebook cig which is 5v i checked or if you want a longer cord and a 5.1v cig there is the power cig by v2 cigs at v2cigs.com

It is actually better that they use a shorter cable. You can always make it longer, but you cant make it shorter. It would be a pain if you were using a portable power device (android phone or minty boost) with a 10 ft cable.

usb cords, power about 15 ft, so i'd be best to get an extension cord.

I know this is old, but to answer the power question, USB2 ports provide 5V at a maximum of 500mA. (Note: truly USB compliant buses only provide 100mA initially until the device requests high power mode, at which point 500mA is possible; but this requires the device to request high power from the host).

Your best bet is a powered USB hub, which should be capable of up to 2A at 5V.

Yeah this thing is far from 5 volts. also, DO NOT BUY THE GRAPE SODA OR FRENCH TOAST FROM ELECTRONICSTIX!! They are horrible! I would not suggest buying e juice from these guys AT ALL. I have bought from liquidXpress, liberty flights, ENjuice, and halocigs and can vouch for those guys. totally wicked makes good liquid but its way too harsh of a throat hit for me. quality though.
