My response to Senator John McCain's YouChoose Spotlight video, in which he asks what issue is not getting enough straight talk in this campaign.

My answer: China.

  • Hussein Obama is a truly great man.

    He has done so much!

Dr. Ron Paul may want to bring our troops back home from that Islamic hell hole right this second, but Mr. Hussein Obama wants to do that TOO!

Dr. Ron Paul is good because he is against the killing of unborn children and he is FOR low taxes, but he is not as good as Obama. No way!

It will be between Dr. Ron Paul and Obama.

Hillary has an okay chance and that is great because she adores the brown immigrants.

  • China, Iraq, Iran, NONE of them frighten me nearly as much as AMERICA. I am having a very serious - DEADLY SERIOUS - problem with Arizona. I contacted my Government for HELP - their responses were DESPICABLE - especially JOHN MCCAIN'S. (See videos.)

  • Even before the media finally shifted its focus as a result of the events of September 11th, I've felt that too much emphasis in the media--particularly television--has been placed on domestic issues rather than many underdiscussed and often underemphasized international concerns. This is especially true for China. James, you're doing a great job of asking specific, pointed questions while remaining fair and objective. It will be interesting to hear McCain's response if he chooses to reply.

  • An economic opportunity, absolutely.

There are winners and losers in international trade, but there are more winners than losers, and overall it makes everyone else better off.

  • Finally a real question, and a good one.

  • Good question.

I've mentioned several times the concerns about the Iraq invasion, and previous attempts to setup permanent military bases in that area, as a foothold against China's borders.

I'd like to see McCain answer all of our questions, but this one interests me a great deal - nice job.

  • If Sen. McCain is elected, will he hug other world leaders, or is he reserving those only for President Bush?

  • Excellent video! Hard hitting and important to our lives. I look forward to seeing which candidates are willing to tackle a reply. It will help decide my vote. - gary

  • Don't forget human rights in China and Russia. I think nearly all Americans care about how we will deal with that.

  • It is a great question James. In today's world we can't just focus on current problems, but we have to multitask, keeping our eye on a nearly limitless number of troubles, possible troubles, as well as opportunities.

We need a president who shows that he/she is aware of more than what is in today's headlines.
