Improvement from the original I'd say. I heard John Denver's first and I thought it was beautiful. Then when I heard the original I couldn't help thinking that it sure didn't sound very good. Even though they wrote it. I'll take John Dnever's version any day.

I remember playing this LP on my record player in the early 70's and loving his interpretation of this song. I will always miss the songs that could have been from John. Thanks for posting this.
