I dunno, most of the versions I've heard (though I haven't heard the recorded one that's on 80-85) are different. They don't have the bit at the end, and the 3rd verse is different.

Nah, the thing about Bad Religion is that they're very vague when it comes to their lyrics. They won't mention a certain war directly, but I guarantee they're talking about the War in general, and not soldiers.
