The Red Shoes - Part 1
The Red Shoes is a 2005 horror film written and directed by Kim Yong-gyun. It is inspired by the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen, in which an unfaithful step-daughter could not stop dancing in her enchanted red shoes.

  • THOSE SHOES ARE MINE, BETCH!

  • @Dhesyca ...you're right. It would seem reading is a dying practice. For the American education this is true, but what is the excuse for all the other countries?...lol

  • @geekeing nor have they read the video description, apparently.

  • The PINK Shoes! Thank goodness everyone else sees this too :)

  • lol thats not red shoes but pink

  • @geekeing UH... yeah original or inspired story is 'the red shoes' but movie title is pink shoes... 아니 분홍신이 왜 빨간신이야 ㅋㅋㅋ 왜 자꾸그러는거야 ㅋㅋ

  • @GirlGamer1206 ...because the shoes are cursed to re-created the original conflict that occured over the shoes during WWII in Japanese-occupied Korea.

  • @MrJOONIBEE ...the title is correct. Kim Yong-gyun, the writer/director of this Korean horror movie was inspired by a story (fairy tale) written by Hans Christain Andersen with the same title: "The Red Shoes". The original story was also about a pair of cursed red shoes.

  • @VigilianceAurelious ...no, the movie is a Korean version of a fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen in 1845 with the same title" "Red Shoes". Of course the title is really referring to the curse of the shoes, but that doesn't stop jokers from making their absurd jokes. It also shows none of them ever read any writings of H.C. Andersen.

  • @Chipexcess ...no translation error. It is a Korean version of "The Red Shoes", a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen first published in 1845 APR 07. While retaining the title little else of the original story is in the movie, expect for a pair of cursed dancing shoes.
