GCR Thomas the Tank Engine Weekend. May 2009

The Great Central Railways 'Days Out With Thomas' weekend. The GCR holds three Thomas Weekends over the year, one in February, May and August. Since I am a menber of the Soar Valley Model Railway Club, we take an Interactive Thomas & Friends Layout (at Quorn Station) to raise money for Rainbows Childrens Hospice at these Thomas events and it is also a good time for me to try out a few new camera angles in readiness for any major Galas etc. like the forth coming 40th Anniversary Gala Celebrations.
Locos Running over the Weekend Were:

-BR Standard 2 No.78019 (Donald/Douglas)
-ex.LMS 8F No.48305 (Donald/Douglas)
-Metro Cammel Class 101 DMU (Daisy)
-Thomas No.1 (Thomas)
-Class 09 Diesel Shunter No.D4067 (Diesel)
-0-4-0 Tram Engine (Toby) STATIC

Yes. The person who wrote it was English and all the locomotives in the series were based on real life Steam Engines in England.
