  • @assiaoumaima The junior to senior thing stems from the idea that it is an honour for the lower party (junior) to be introduced to the higher. It shows respect for the senior party, as they are the ones accepting the acquaintance, rather than reaching for it.

    You see it a lot in 18th and 19th texts, when the class and social strata were more clearly defined.

  • I think that this information is quite good, but the timing of the subtitles is off and hard to follow.
