As Paul once said, "Let me engage in a bit of foolishness"' Even if "Tithing" was justified by this one chapter in Hebrews7, Hebrews was written between 61 and 65 AD when the temple in Jerusalem was standing. The temple was destroyed in 70 AD. Where would the tithe go if the temple is destroyed?

@king4him LOL true...I did make a note to myself on that one. It stuck out to me. But I gave anyway, kinda felt bad that they are struggling to pay the mortgage. They are very open about it

@minimalistmaverick89 What i do sis is this, EVERYTIME i am listening to a sermon, i take notes. If its something said that I dont quite understand or seems kinda weird, i always make a note of it to look up when i get time. That way, I know when something is false.
You better listen to the SPIRIT when HE tells you to do something!!! lol

WOW...I read Hebrews 7 several times, but I never picked up on that subtle difference between Abram gave tithes and the sons of Levi have commandment to collect the tenth.

@llonden2kx Yes that is a very subtle difference in the text but it shows clearly the difference between free will and obligation. Thanks for the comments...
