Alternative rock and clowns never failed in the 90's, from here with the smashing pumpkins to STP's vasoline. Nowadays we have 12 year olds in music videos driving cars that have dolphine fetishes.

@kanookle Don't you feel pompous saying that? I hate Silverchair too, but saying someone is an idiot because they like them is a bit pretentious when you yourself are extolling the virtues of the pumpkins - a VERY similar band in the greater scheme of things. They're from the same era & sub-genre. Also nobody thinks the current skynyrd is legit, come on... and many would say Metallica died with Cliff. Also that guy wasn't making an analogy... an analogy is when you draw parallels
