Hank, this is the future calling, they have made those time lapse cameras, with both still frame and recording capabilities. I know game and wildlife guys in Florida use them to try and find invasive (sp?) species, like pythons and iguanas.

but i still like busyness too.

I'm curious as to where you were in Maine... and you should come back sometime! Specifically to where I live - there's internet here.
Maine is awesome.

I live in South Berwick, Maine, and we have internaet, tv, and tons of other stuff. I like being cut off from most of civilization, it brings you closer to nature. I live 7 miles from town, but we have a dunkin dougnuts, pizza places, a mini supermarket, and even an eyeglass place. If you want to see a busier spot, check out Portland, Maine.

They have those camera type things for hunters, only instead of time-lapse, they're motion-activated. You could possibly break into one and make that edit, Hank.

thumbs up about the internetless spaz attack!

hey I love maine!!!! There is plenty of cool stuff there, but the further north you go the stuff there is going to be. I guess americans just weren't interested in colonizing the northern half of maine, too much snow in the winter?

@Phlemberg I think Hank was saying that his family's house didn't have internet (nor apparently any place near there), not that the entire state is an anachronism from the 1950s.
Hank, you look freaking cute when you look over your glasses just fyi ;D

I admire you Hank, but Maine has a lot more than plumbing and heating. I'm on the internet right now. My phone has a signal. But Maine is a great place, because in many parts of it there is no connection to civilization. Just man and nature in harmony. But I can understand you are used to your industrialized Montana, but I know you're big on the environment, so I suppose it pleases you that more than 50% of Maine is still forest.
