In the TLC special "Forbidden Love: Polygamy," journalist Dawn Porter explores the most extreme ways women find love and live with men. In this special, she enters the controversial and secretive world of polygamy. From a whole town of polygamists to a family hiding in the wilderness while the husband searches for a third wife, Dawn meets the women who share their men and asks: "Does sharing your life and husband with multiple wives really work and make everyone happy?" Here, Dawn meets with a group of wives as they determine whether or not they'll let her meet their families.

it's a tough work if you have multiple Family.....the bills....the Houses.....Schedule arrangement...food's....fairne­ss.....its a complicated relationship.....but plenty out there

These people can choose to do whatever they want...but notice how it's always the man who has multiple wives and not the other way around. This leads me to believe that it's just a douchebag man taking advantage of women.

@xxxAirmidxxx The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (nicknamed "Mormons") has discontiinued the practice of polygamy and DOES NOT agree with it in any way! There are many "off shoots" of the LDS church that practice polygamy (ex: the FLDS fundamentalist chuch that the LDS church is not affiliated with) but it is in no way acceptable for members of the LDS church.

I am a member of the LDS church and monogamous marriage is all we believe in!

omg...just because they are polygamists doesn't mean the woman are sexually interested in eachother.. those of you who don't understand that need to educate yourselves lol
