My favorite recording of these works I've heard so far.

  • This is truly amazing music. Hard to believe it was written so recently (comparatively.) Strongly based on tradition, yet undeniably new and unique, while still remaining biologically and emotionally satisfying. What more could you want? Many modern composers need to take a few lessons from Arvo Part.... music is, first and foremost, something to be enjoyed, not studied. What would you think of a chef who fed you terrible tasting food, but defended it by saying it was "interesting"?

  • @aglyvert66 as a fascinated amateur singer of this antiphona : The slower the more poignant, the greater the smiles in the audience !

  • Nice and great voices ! ( perhaps a little slow ,? for me ) I like this vrsion. Thank, Michel
