Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a decent longboard good for sliding and just cruising around.

I'm 12 years old and i'm quite short and i don't weigh very much. I was looking at getting an Apex 37 but i thought that might be too long. So my question is, is this board the right choice for sliding and just cruising around?

@CrazyCruising the Apex 34 would be a great board for you to start out on. It's symmetrical shaped, so it's easy to slide with, and it's a fun board for cruising/carving on flats. One you progress, this board is also a fun freestyle board.

Hey original I enjoy sliding a bit of downhill free riding and freestyle so do u think I should get the av rocker concave apex 40 the double concave apex 40 freeride 38 or apex 34

@Longmatey scratch the Apex 34 off your list, that's mostly for flatland freestyle. If you choose the Apex 40, get double concave. If you want the Freeride 38, get rocker concave. The Freeride will provide you with most control during higher speeds, and the Apex 40 will provide you with durability during freestyle riding.

I'm looking in to buying either the apex 34 or 37, I really like free style and stuff because I used to skateboard a lot for about two years, but stopped because I developed a tumor in my ankle so I don't want to break it. I'm 6,4 and about 205. Which would be better? If there's a board for riding around and flatground that might be a little more cost efficient that would be nice.
