@1776iscoming Federalism gives marriage to the states under Family law. The only federal agency that can overide that is the SCOTUS just like in interracial marriage.

Nor can anyone invalidate homosexuality by referring to a man-written, man-translated & man-interpreted book which is open to a myriad of interpretations. Yet you continue trumpeting your supposed ability to do so. If we all agree that the Bible is invalid in matters of civil law, which it definitely is, why refer to it in order to justify your discrimination?

@1776iscoming If you remember, this nation that we live in is suppose to have full separation of religion & government. Currently, the Federal Government gives benefits to married couples. This is due to Capitalism, an true evil but required to drill in equality in some cases. allowing such a thing to occur. In the end the Federal Government will allow it, due to this also being a thing over money. No religion will determinate against any people in this country. Proof of leftist power working.

There is no logic is changing the definition of a sacred bond that God instituted as a foreshadowing of Jesus' relationship to the church. But, I have no doubt, that at the rate this nation is declining that "gay marriage" will be a nationwide thing, not because of some type of enlightenment, but because this nation has become a moral cesspool and God's hand of blessing/restraint has been removed.

@StolasUriel Wrong again, marriage is not a Constitutional right, states can deny it or accept it, but the Constitution has no bearing on whatever they decide. The Constitution restrains the federal gov't, marriage is not a Constitutional right, therefor it is a state's right.

GodCrearesGays2 put the main point in the field. The Bible does not dictate the lives of anyone under the U.S. Constitution. Our country, the U.S., needs to adapt as a majority of the world has; to allow gay marriage & full equal rights. This is the same as having slave auctions in D.C., before it was put to an end. But this can not be dealt with by Civil War, but simply by the Federal Government enforcing it.

@1776iscoming (Continued) The states that do not honor it are defying the Constitution & thus should have their senators kicked from Congress. We live in a logical world currently. Through the years in which will pass, the non-logical thinking people will become a minority.; while the those who accept others will become a majority. When that day comes, there will be true democracy in the United States. For what we allow now is the equivalent of Black Codes.
