To millrdge1: You have to know that the KMT Party has never honestly admitted all the bloody crimes the party had committed in Taiwan, not to mention that the KMT Party has never repaid even a penny to the families of those who were martyred in the Taiwan 228 Massacres and the 38-year-long White Terror Era! Without confessing to the true crimes that the KMT Party Regime has committed in Taiwan, an empty and insincere apology from the KMT Party just means nothing!

I would like DPP in Taiwan concentrate more on economic and issues people care about. Our last President Chiang KS and his son have contribute a lot to Taiwan. Although there are 228 and other political issues, just do not promote hatred. It is better to look ahead and move on. Besides, KMT is already apologize for that 228 mistakes. Really hope people can live and understand each other better.
