Community Learning Mentors - Penguin Parade Norwich

Norwich Community Penguin Parade

Families across Norwich have taken part in an innovative learning programme, designing and decorating their own penguin sculptures and creating a colourful array of penguin puppets.

Inspired by the success of the Norwich Go Elephants project in 2009, a partnership led by Norwich Community Learning Mentors was set up to try and use art based activities as a fun way to promote learning across the city.

This idea grew into the Norwich Community Penguin Parade.

The project will end with a week long exhibition in The Forum in the centre of Norwich. This will run from 2 April until 9 April 2010.
