The EOS 1DX is the new flagship camera in the Canon DSLR range, taking the best of the EOS-1D and EOS-1Ds cameras and melding them into a single unit.

The Canon EOS-1D X DSLR is designed to appeal to all photographers, whether they are looking for a high-resolution or high-speed camera. An 18.1 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, 61-point AF sensor, and up to 14 frames per second (fps) shooting speed have been combined to produce the most advanced EOS digital camera to date. With its advanced Full HD EOS Movie shooting capabilities it will also find favour with videographers who shoot a wide range of subjects.
Who is it for?

Combining the benefits of a full-frame, high-resolution CMOS sensor with up to 14fps shooting speed means the EOS-1D X is the perfect camera for whatever your assignment requires -- whether it's high resolution landscapes, commercial work, or shooting high-speed sports around the world. The rugged and weather-sealed EOS-1 series body makes the EOS-1D X a perfect workhorse camera for long, hard assignments in tough conditions. • Nikon D4 has light up buttons... nuff said

  • Its my dream !

  • @Black5Cloud TE HAS EQUIVOCADO :) la D4 no superó a la 1DX nadíe niega que son un par de maquinas pero canon aún sigue por encima. mas iso,mas frames etc.

  • I want one :(

  • @Black5Cloud hope is a strong word...

  • song name?

  • wow - 4 stops higher iso than the 7D - impressive

  • @katographics How 'bout no.

  • @Black5Cloud i think you should stfu and just do take your photos. photography isnt about datasheet comparsion, its about your eye, creativity and the trigger.

  • @sirbob809 You know... Nikon's D3s only lags 1 stop in ISO behind this cam. And the D3s is using 2009 tech.

Just imangine what Nikon came up with in those years.

14 FPS? I doubt the D4 will do any less.

18Megapixels? I think 14 MP is more than enough for most pro photographers. Less megapixels also means less noise.

Yes, i do own a D3s... perhaps i'm just biased. :- ) But i think Nikon will smash this camera with its D4.
