Rasmus Lerdorf is the initial creator of the PHP web programming language in 1993. Rasmus now works for Yahoo! and continues to lead the large open source community around the development and use of the PHP programming language. Rasmus talks about the history of PHP, some of the more recent work, and looks toward the future of PHP.
@dennisonicc Oh of course, but I am not really interested in that at this very moment in time.
Maybe within the next year, what I am looking at is the ZendFramework, who of course took on what Ramus here did and made the Perl Libs into its own programming language, what the word Zend stands for is a few of the creaters of the PHP parser.

@dennisonicc Python is a good language, wouldn't really say more powerful, but has great pipelining capabilities.
Allows you to see if a problem can be resolved quicker, but I definitely would not really say it's any more or less powerful than PHP.
